Dates (pitted)

Aside from the fact that dates have the highest antioxidant content of all the dried fruits (as if that wasn't enough), they are super tasty, a good source of fibre, low in fat and high in potassium and magnesium.  They're also a great energy boost due to the natural sugars being rapidly absorbed.  You can make all sorts of delicious things with dates - vegan caramel sauce, use them in your baking, cooking, granola, and as a topper on porridge or plant based yoghurt!
